Coastal Hampton Roads Volleyball Club (CHRVC) is thrilled to announce a highly successful Club Information Night held on July 25, 2024, with over 60 parents and players in attendance and more than 100 athletes preregistered for upcoming tryouts. The event, held at the CHRVC Sportsplex, was an informative and engaging evening that provided crucial insights into the club's plans for the upcoming season.

Event Highlights:

1. Travel Schedule:
One of the key topics covered was the travel schedule for the upcoming season. Parents and players were given a detailed overview of the domestic and regional tournaments that the teams will participate in, including travel dates and locations. The schedule aims to balance competitive play with the convenience of travel for families.

2. Introduction of New Coaches:
The evening also introduced several new coaches joining the CHRVC staff. Attendees had the opportunity to meet these experienced professionals and learn about their backgrounds, coaching philosophies, and how they plan to contribute to the club’s success. A major highlight of the night was the announcement of CHRVC’s partnership with Hudl for streaming and recruiting purposes. This innovative platform will allow players to showcase their skills through live streaming of matches and tournaments, making it easier for college coaches and scouts to follow their progress. The integration of Hudl is a significant step towards enhancing the recruitment process and increasing exposure for CHRVC athletes.
